Excellent paint work. I’ve always like your painting, but it is coming on in leaps and bounds recently. The shields look great, is the a mix of transfer and glazing?

The Romans are nothing special, but have been improved enormously by the Vallejo metallic glaze. Before I was a bit unsure of them, now I am happy to put them on a table. The shields were a mix of transfer and dip. I’m never going back to dip, it’s too uncontrolable and pools too much.
The Red Coats I’m starting on this month are coming on really well and I’m really happy with them, which is a good motivator as I’m not a fan of painting units. Only seven more Napoleonic infantry, three cavalry and two cannon.
I am managing to stick to my one unit a month which is keeping me sane. Still with just the small amount here at the flat it will take me to the end of next year! That’s not including the two Kickstarters coming my way.
